My daughter loves this car seat. It feels like a cushy chair. All of the other reviews will tell you the specific safety reviews, and they are a must-read, and they are why I purchased this particular seat. So all of that aside, the comfort seems perfect for my daughter. A great seat that will last her for years to come.

Heavy duty, versatile child seat, September 23, 2013

This is our third Radian convertible carseat and here I am ordering our fourth (2 kids X 2 cars). This new one is essentially the same as our two-year old ones, with the addition of a cup holder. The seat feels solid and heavy duty. It is also easy to install rear- and forward-facing, assuming you are able to lift it (these seats are fairly hefty); however, with that said, read, follow, and KEEP the instruction manual - same for the straps used for the various configurations and child weights. The only drawback for us was the amount of rear-seat legroom eaten up in the rear-facing position, but we did make it work with two compact cars - front passengers just can't be terribly tall. Our infant hated the Graco carrier and screamed, now he just goes to sleep in his Radian. REVIEWS..........

Saved my kids in a recent car accident

We were in a car accident on July 27, 2009. We were merging onto a highway from a side street that has a merge lane. The driver in front of me suddenly stopped because the driver in front of her suddenly stopped. I was looking over my should to merge, and just at the moment I looked forward we hit the car in front of s, going about 20 mph. The air bag went off and our Toyota Sienna minivan was totaled. My 3 1/2 year old 34 pound son was completely unharmed in the back seat with this booster seat. My 1 week shy of becoming a 5 year old had some shoulder belt bruising, but no other injuries. My 6 1/2 year old had more bruising in a booster with a back, but I think that is because of 2 reasons: she was in the middle row and the height needed to be adjusted to the back of her carseat. Booster seats saved our kids from further injury, and possibly death (due to internal or other injuries). We purchased boosters with backs as our replacement seats, but the backs can be removed. This booster seat PROVED itself worthy! REVIEWS..........

Yeahhh, I like this, and I get so many compliments on the style of it. It also works terrific. It keeps him belted down without all the hastle of extra loops, belts, chains, and whips. Thats what the other ones remind me of. Anyway, great product, highly recommend to anyone who likes less gadgets, but gets the job done.
