Bought this for my 3rd child. Why? Because it was the cheapest one. It doesn't appear to be any less safe than the more expensive ones. It's just as heavy and a pain to carry with a baby inside as the more expensive ones too. It does the job it's intended to do, and appears to be very durable. No problems with the base at all. Cute print but I put a cute cover on it because I like grey tones. REVIEWS..........

Awesome Seat!!

I purchased 2 seats originaly in January and just bought a third! I have 2 in black and one in grey. The seats are cushioned very well and just took a very long trip with my 2 year old and he never complained! Im not sure what the other reviews were in reference to the buckles being an issue. Its possible that it was just that seat. Mine are fine on all 3 seats! Perfect Slim line seat especially when you have multiple carseats installed!

I have been reluctant to get a booster seat for my 2 kids since I invested in those convertible carseats that go up 100 lbs. Plus I know that 5-pt harness is safest.

But then the older the kids get the more activities they do...birthday parties, sports, theater, playdates, field trips, camp, etc. Transferring those bulky car seats is painfully inconvenient. So I got this booster seat for 5-year old daughter. And all I can say is, THANK GOODNESS! This seat is light, takes seconds to transfer from one car to another, and most importantly she is so much more comfortable in this than her convertible carseat. The side headrest cradles her head when she falls asleep unlike her convertible carseat where she just sort of slumps forward. She refuses to go back to her convertible carseat and I don't blame her! This was supposed to be our extra carseat but it's become the primary one for her now.

I have no complaints, I love this carseat and I can't wait to get another one as soon as my son turns 3 in a few months. REVIEWS..........

Perfect car seat for me and my family!!

Extensively researched many car seats, my son is moving out of his infant carrier and i don't want to buy another seat for him after this one.

Yes, this one is on the more expensive side but i believe it is worth every penny. Plenty of room to grow (out and up), many seat settings (you will only have one permanent one for each "mode" but the variety is perfect to customize fit for each car).

It is a bit heavy but due to the steel bars i wouldn't expect anything less and i don't plan on moving it around too much (small price for the security it provides). Also, the weight is something i can handle if i need to.

i read all reviews on amazon, babiesrus and other web sites just to know what i was getting into and although highly rated it may not be for everyone. smaller cars i could see being a problem. i have a jeep grand Cherokee and this seat is positioned in the center of the rear bench. If it were on the sides of the bench, there would be some limits to the passenger in the front seat in regards to how far the seat could move back (but we had that issue with the infant carrier too... not a problem for us). however in the center of my car, both of my front chairs move all the way back if needed without compromising the car seat.

i have only used it in rear facing mode so far but i feel that is the most difficult position in a car with this particular car seat.

I also tested it with my infant carrier (chicco keyfit 30) in the side seat next to it (we plan on another child at some point) and it fits just fine. it is a bit snug but everything fits and works as it should.

my son also seems very happy to be in this seat as opposed to others so it must be pretty comfortable for him or he would be really squirmy. REVIEWS..........
