This is the second Graco Snugride I have purchased as the first reached it's expiration date and my third child still needed a rear-facing car seat. I love that this carseat is light and easy to carry. My kids have never reached the 22lb limit before I wanted them in a traditional carseat anyway, so that has never been an issue. I love that this new carseat is now rated for side impacts as my old one was not. One of the biggest pluses to this carseat is that the sunshade has a stiff front and back so it can come all the way forward to block the sun from the rear in the car. I have yet to find another carseat that has this feature. It keeps me coming back to Graco every time. REVIEWS..........

I bought this for my very small 6 year old who will likely need a booster seat for the next few years and is OBSESSED with superheros, particularly Batman. He LOVES it. I mostly like it the coolness of the design outweighs the drawbacks as far as we are concerned. Install was or could have been a bit of a challenge as the seat can be both 5 point harness and booster and the instructions were confusing on how to install for each. Once I figured it out (mostly on my own without the instructions) we were good to go. The seat back is really high so Batman glares at me in the rear view mirror all the time but I'm getting used to his opinion of my driving skills. The cape is Velcro'd on and my son keeps accidentally pulling it off, he hasn't wrapped himself in it yet but maybe when it's colder this winter he will. It is more challenging for him to buckle himself in than it was with his old seat since the arms don't move and you have to thread the seat belt under one arm and then try to find the connector piece on the car but he manages. all and all I would buy this again just for the coolness factor. REVIEWS..........
