Car seat for kids. When your child is ready to graduate to a booster, the high-back Monterey lets you make the transition with safety and comfort. The adjustable design accommodates a growing child up to 120 pounds and 63” tall. Deep, reinforced sides are lined with energy-absorbing EPS foam for side-impact protection. Easily increase the width of the expandable seatback to fit a child’s shoulders up to 20” wide, and adjust the 11-position headrest for a comfortable, custom fit. Optional use of the integrated latch connectors allow for a safe and secure installation in seconds. The reinforced seat bottom has extra length for leg support and features thick, AirTek™ foam and tapered sides for total comfort. Dual cup holders are extra-deep and angled to keep drinks upright. Monterey packs flat for travel and storage and can also be used as a backless booster.

It's been about a week and I have to say we really love the Diono Monterey Booster!
We couldn't try out these booster seats for our twin 5 year old boys in stores so we had to rely on reviews, which all seemed to be great.
This was our criteria - safety, comfort, ease of use, longevity and price.
The boys had spent the last few years in Britax Marathon, we loved these seats for the safety, comfort and easy instal. I imagined going Britax again but .....wasn't ready to move away from the latch system. We did try out the Graco Turbo Booster- my son found it to be uncomfortable. Then he sat in the Britax Frontier, he said it was comfortable, but the price threw me, I simply could not afford it. The Britax Parkway was deemed comfortable by the kids but doesn't have Latch anchors and one of my boys isn't yet 40 pounds. Car seat for kids
The Diono Monterey fit the bill for us, it's very soft and padded, the back and side head protection is not obtrusive. We love that it uses the latch system, is highly adjustable, and very cool looking. The children fit the seats well and even though they seem to have plenty of growing room they also don't look to be swimming in the seats either. It fits into our Honda CR-V perfectly. We are very happy and glad we took the risk of ordering these based solely on the positive reviews. REVIEWS..........
