I purchased the SnugRide 35 for my little man because I knew it would last far longer than any other infant carrier carseat and more importantly, he would be safe. He is 16 months old and has just reached the maximum length of 32". The carseat is definitely heavy with him in it, but I can still easily lift him from car to grocery cart or stroller and can still carry it short distances. This is especially helpful when he has fallen asleep!
The cover has seen its share of leaky diapers and newborn spit up and is very easy to clean. It is mashine washable and dries thoroughly when hung up overnight. The straps are easy to unthread for cover removal and the strap covers have velco for quick and easy removal and spot cleaning. It was easy to adjust the straps as my son grew.
My only complaint is that the strength of the canopy has started to wear. When the canopy is pulled back, it falls to a lowered position behind the seat. It is not a problem, just a visual pet peeve on my part. Keep in mind, of course, that my son likes to play peek-a-boo with me by pulling the canopy back and forth over his face.
Also, I did and still do use this in conjunction with the Graco Car Seat Frame Stroller, which I highly recommend. It served me well, especially after a c-section. It is so light to lift and easy to push instead of a bulky travel system. REVIEWS..........
